Composition, our immersive dome art piece presented at NUR NOW in Kazan, Russia, is an experimental artwork that explores the relationship between art and mathematics. The imagery is composed of black, white, and red, with brightness, form, and frequency constantly shifting. On the surface it appears chaotic, yet hidden within are numerous mathematical laws. It resembles a complex and ornate piano score, which upon closer study reveals striking similarities to mathematical waveforms, both flowing with diverse rhythms and patterns. Colors, shapes, and sounds are essentially forms of data. When they are synthesized at the same frequency, they generate powerful symbolism and resonance. Through this cross-media dialogue of perception, the artwork investigates the infinite possibilities of synthesis aesthetics, presenting a strong sense of both experimentation and technology.
