Element Couture is a luminous haute couture fashion show created for Perm`s PROSVET Festival. Rooted in the local history of Mendeleev`s mineral research expeditions across the Ural Mountains, the piece features over fifty uniquely characterized anthropomorphic chemical figures staging a full runway performance. The work naturally resonates with the festival`s core theme System of Light. As the fundamental medium of this entire system, light dissolves rigid architectural contours and deconstructs the intrinsic essence of all matter. Split into three chapters: Germination, Paradox, Universe,the flowing light visuals trace the birth, collision, fusion and recombination of elements. Through avant-garde couture aesthetics, it builds a complete luminous system that illustrates the fundamental rules behind all matter in the world.
