This work draws inspiration from Chongqing`s unique mountainous terrain and river-born climate, reinterpreting the city`s energy and pulse through the industrial aesthetics of steampunk. Hotpot motifs, Sichuan opera masks, drifting fog, steel structures, machinery, and the steep slopes of the mountain city merge into a wild visual journey, allowing traditional landscape imagery to gain new life under high-pressure steam and mechanical force. Influenced by Mad Max, the piece carries a sense of post-apocalyptic tension and rugged beauty, yet it preserves the grandeur and soul of Chongqing`s mountains and waters. It is both a reconstruction of the city`s reality and an imagination of what future landscapes might become.
