About

In the mapping show at Yuhuang Pavilion in Yinchuan Ningxia, the ancient tower became a stage where the regions rich intangible cultural heritage and natural elements were seamlessly intertwined. The resonant singing of Qin opera, the lively silhouettes of shadow puppetry, the intricate patterns of embroidery, the spirited movements of Yangge dance, and the grandeur of dragon and lion dances were brought to life through light and imagery, unfolding like a living cultural scroll before the audience.Natural symbols of Yinchuan were also given vibrant life: the city flower, the Malan flower, and roses bloomed in light; the city tree, the Elaeagnus angustifolia, grew upward beneath the night sky; and the city bird, the magpie, soared with open wings. The fusion of imagery and architecture not only emphasized the grandeur of Yuhuang Pavilion but also immersed viewers in the unique cultural and natural atmosphere of Ningxia. From folk traditions to nature, from ancient charm to modern vitality, the entire performance used light and projection to tell the story of Yinchuans memory and spirit, allowing audiences to rediscover the warmth and vitality of this land through both visual impact and emotional resonance.
