About
The famous Graffiti Street in Huangjueping Chongqing stretches 1.25 kilometers and covers an area of about 50,000 square meters, making it the largest graffiti art complex in China today. The concept was proposed by renowned oil painter and former president of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Professor Luo Zhongli, who envisioned using graffiti art to beautify building facades along the street and inject fashionable vitality into the old neighborhood of Huangjueping.In January 2023 during The First Chongqing International Light Art Festival, SKGPLUS created a playful and charming piece through thoughtful design. Drawing inspiration from the textures of graffiti, the vibrant atmosphere of the street, and the social context of renewal following the end of pandemic restrictions, the team brought this artwork to life. The creators deliberately avoided overly complex or exaggerated technical methods, instead using a childlike artistic approach to depict the happiest side of people’s hearts. The work fully embodied the festival’s theme Art Makes Life Better.
