About
This mapping light and projection show for the CrossFire New Hundred Cities Tournament seamlessly blended the game’s intense atmosphere with military elements, creating an unprecedented immersive experience. The show was staged on the “Kiev” aircraft carrier in Tianjin, a venue that itself carries an aura of grandeur and authority. Through mapping projection and multimedia lighting, the warship was given a spectacular new visual identity, immersing viewers in a world where virtual battlefields and real naval power intersect.During intermissions, the massive hull transformed into a dynamic screen, displaying vibrant animations and game imagery that extended the excitement of esports into the audience’s viewing experience. The interplay of light and steel delivered a striking visual contrast, while naturally integrating military knowledge and national defense awareness into entertainment. This design broke away from traditional esports stage formats, transforming the aircraft carrier into a monumental “immersive arena,” adding cultural depth and artistic appeal to the competition while redefining the spectator experience.
