With a total duration of about eight minutes, the piece takes the Buddhist cosmology of Mount Sumeru and the cultural spirit of Guanyin from Mount Putuo as its foundation. Through digital art, it illustrates the vastness of the universe while conveying the compassionate power of Guanyin Bodhisattva, who responds to the prayers of all beings. By weaving together light, imagery, and music, the work connects the sacred altar of Guanyin with the symbolic grandeur of Mount Sumeru, offering the audience a multi-sensory, immersive experience that evokes both the solemnity and sanctity of Buddhism.Because the piece is centered on a Buddhist theme, and the architectural surface of“Mount Sumeru”itself is uniquely complex, the creative process presented numerous challenges. From scriptwriting and visual design to digital production and on-site calibration, every stage required precision and dedication.
