The Huashan 263 Time Honored Brand Pavilion in Shanghai features over 100 high quality historic brands, presented through themed, scenographic, interactive, and immersive displays that fully showcase the cultural legacy of these brands. The exhibition is divided into three main sections: Century of Glory, Ideal City, and Timeless Classics.This artwork is located on the first floor in the Century of Glory section, where it takes the form of a technologically inspired Mechanical Magic Wall. Standing before it, visitors feel as if they are immersed in a massive device that records the passage of time. The wall is composed of countless meticulously designed sliding panels, each concealing archival images and interactive features related to a time honored brand.When visitors pull open a panel, a scroll of history is revealed: since the opening of Shanghai as a treaty port in 1843, the remarkable stories of families safeguarding their heritage, perfecting their craft, and building enduring brands unfold one by one. Here, visitors can not only view vivid videos and precious historical materials up close but also interact through touch, experiencing the craftsmanship and prestige accumulated over generations.The Mechanical Magic Wall blends tradition and modernity, making history tangible and experiential. Through its technological motion and striking visuals, it allows visitors to deeply connect with the unique cultural depth and urban memory of Shanghai.
